The property located at 55 and 69 Mechanic Street is currently owned by the Town of Windsor and serves as the maintenance facility for the Windsor Parks and Recreation Department. The site is bordered on the north by scenic woodlands, and on the south by open fields and an attractive pond, which will be an aesthetic amenity to the project. Two four-story garden style buildings will be constructed on the site. The 90 unit Ellsworth Building will abut Mechanic Street on the west and the 40 unit McLean Building will be located on the south end of the site abutting the pond. On-site parking will include 147 spaces located in close proximity to both buildings. Additional parking will be available in the commuter rail parking lot immediately across Mechanic Street from the Ellsworth Building.

Windsor Station will be in close proximity to major employers including: CIGNA, MetLife, Otis Elevators, The Hartford, Travelers, and Voya Financial. Within a 5 mile radius of the Project, demographics include a population of over 100,000 people and an average household income of $81,000. The Project is centrally located in a quiet, friendly, wooded area, with easy access to shops, restaurants, quality schools and a commuter rail system. Additionally, the average anticipated price per square foot of $2.05 is affordable to the average resident in the area and in line with the market.
Building amenities will include an expansive fitness center, 24 hour business center and community space. The common area will contain a kitchenette and a high bar area, flat screen televisions, sitting areas, and will be available for private parties. Planned amenities will include walking trails, outdoor social gathering areas including an outside seating area with tables, chairs, umbrellas, and a barbeque area, with gas fired grills, for outdoor cookouts and a fire pit located between the McLean Building and the pond.
